Are you sure you want to know?
The black widow spider is one of the scariest insects existent on this planet. As their name allows you to assume, it is not an insect that makes a good pet.
They have a great reputation, but can you actually imagine what they do to your body if they take a good bite? Just within 15 minutes, their cocktail of neurotoxins gets spread into the body and it is not the most pleasant thing to have inside you. If you can handle, then watch this short video made by TechInsider, which explains every little part of this deadly procedure.
Funnily enough, even though black widows have a notorious reputation, their venom actually rarely kills a healthy adult, and they even avoid attack, except if they are feeling threatened. However, if you can help it, it is probably better to avoid their bite!
Watch the video, and be careful!
Arachnid, not insect. But just as terrifying nonetheless.
