Have you ever thought that starting your day healthy every morning, may improve your day and be able to deal better in your demanding schedule?
If you want to feel refreshed and ready to face the day, try these simple tips for about a month and you will see a big difference in your physical condition.
Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up
Moisturize your body helps your digestive system in operation and things flow. I noticed positive changes, such as more radiant skin and better digestion. If desired, add fresh lemon juice or a teaspoon of Apple Cider vinegar.
Don’t check your email and do not open your cell phone
You sleep with your cell phone next to you and is the first thing to check in the morning, when you wake up? This is not a good habit. If you choose to resist the temptation to check email and Facebook, you will find that your mind will be clearer.
Think one thing you feel grateful for
It is important to have the necessary optimism and positivity during the day if you have three to five reasons, even better!
Go out and take a breath
Fill your lungs with fresh air. Even if it’s cold out. It only takes 10 seconds and reminds you that you are alive, full of energy!
Do some exercise
You do not need to do intense workout, but a few exercises before breakfast will help your body to “wake up”, the blood will begin to flow and you will escape from the state of sleepiness. Just do some stretches or listen to your favorite song and dance like no one sees you.
Eat a hearty breakfast
Give your body the right fuel to stay active and energetic throughout the day. A cup of coffee does not count and certainly not a suitable fuel.
A hearty breakfast will make you feel full and cheerful all day! Additionally if you start the day eating healthy you’re more likely to do the same for the rest of the day. Some ideas: yogurt with fruit and whole grains, oatmeal with peanut butter and banana, vegetable omelet or wholegrain toast with Turkey and cheese with a cup of natural orange juice.
Say ‘ I love you ‘
The happy and healthy people express their love and appreciation for the closest people such as children, partner, family, friends, on a daily basis. Thereby reinforced the bond, we become more happy, healthy and cheerful.
