As the conflict in Syria continues to tear the country apart, every day men and women are doing their part to save those in distress. Over the weekend, a video from rebel held Idlib surfaced after first responders pulled a 1-month-old baby from the rubble of a ruined building after an airstrike.
The Syrian Civil Defence -composed entirely of civilians and volunteers- were able to uncover the baby girl and a woman who had been under the crushing weight of the structure for two hours. The responders could not tell if the little girl was still alive. The man who held her began to rock her back and forth, longing for her to show signs of life and then they heard her sweet cries.
He burst into tears.
“Thank God, she doesn’t have one wound, no wounds at all,” the rescue worker says in the video. “Thank God. When I carried her I felt like she was my daughter. The guys and I, the team that worked with me, we were three or four who took her out and then I carried her on my own and brought her to the hospital. I felt like she was my daughter. I hugged her tight. She moved me deeply.”
The Syrian Civil Defence, also known as the White Helmets, said the child and women were on the fourth floor when the airstrike hit. Her lack of injuries are being hailed as a miracle.
Take a minute and watch the emotional moment in the video below, that is touching the world.

All rescuers are real heroes , can’t praise them enough any country in the world . Sad too when they have to rescue innocent children all because of rich money making war mongers & false religion is just as bad
A true hero.
