Personality types are broadly defined on a spectrum which has an introvert on one end and an extrovert on the other. Today we will be talking about the former. Introverts are people who like to be alone. They prefer their own company above anyone else. Therefore they like to spend a lot of time alone. They have certain qualities which arise as a natural result of their tendency of solitude.
Here are 6 traits specific to introverts.
1. They can be counted upon always.
As a friend, they are loyal to a fault. They don’t have a very large group of friends but the ones they have- they really value a lot.
2. They do like to try new things.
One of the misconceptions about introverts has always been that they don’t want to try new things. They are open to new experiences; it is just that they are particular about their company.
3. They are level-headed.
People who like to spend their time alone have lots of opportunities to contemplate. As a result, they are sorted in general and their minds are not a tumult of emotions.
4. Their thoughts are not frenzied.
As the previous point suggests, they are also very organized in their thought process and are less likely to get overwhelmed with their own thoughts.
5. They value time.
They have set priorities and don’t believe in wasting time, whether their own or yours.
6. They maintain boundaries.
They are private people and only those are allowed in their personal circle that they really cherish. Therefore, they have a strong sense of boundaries and not just anyone can get inside theirs.
Because of their habit of spending their time alone, they are also better able to handle anxiety and stress than most others. Even their memories are slightly better than most. They remain focused which is the cause for their efficiency. Overall, solitude seems to make for successful individuals who have their affairs in order.
