“Perfection is a disease of a nation. We overlay our faces with tons of make-up. We get botoxs and even starve ourselves to become that perfect size. We try to fix something but you can’t fix what you can’t see. It’s the soul that needs the surgery. It’s time that we take a stand. How can you expect someone else to love you if you don’t love yourself? You have to be happy with yourself. It doesn’t matter what you look like on the outside, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Today, I want to put up a makeup-free photo. I know I have wrinkles on my skin but today I want you to see beyond that. I want to embrace the real me and I want you to embrace who you are, the way you are, and love yourself just the way you are.” – Julia Roberts.
She posted this on her Facebook and Instagram profile telling us how twisted and extreme our beauty parameters have become.
It would be so nice if a day will come that our inner beauty triumphed over outer appearance. For now, our image is more important than ever. It is so sad that many people spend so much money with the hope to look more beautiful in the face, when they forget what really matters. Make peace with your-self, love and put your heart, mind, and soul into even your smallest acts. Then you will find the key to happiness.

ok your opinion,,,
What’s the threat that self absorbed people will stop buying their products JR is correct but most people are too superficial to understand her comment
I understand all this ” loving ourselves thing ” , and I personally don’t like makeup or dressing up real nice cuz I’m tomboyish. But makeup is art and many, not only women, a lot of people want to look nice for themselves or wanna impress someone, it’s up to us what we want to do to ourselves. The thing that should be stopped right away is shaming people for their skin color , looks, clothing.
Still gorgeous
