The First Aid Blanket offers clear instructions with regards to dealing with an unconscious victim.
You never know when disaster might strike. And, not everyone is CPR-certified or capable of thinking clearly during tense situations. Fortunately, researchers of Zhejiang University in China have developed a first-aid blanket which may help save lives.
The clever blanket is covered with instructions describing what to do in an emergency situation. From correctly administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to helping unblock airways, the blanket is encrypted with knowledge average citizens may rely on as they wait for paramedics to arrive and take over.
For understandable reasons, the blanket won the prestigious Red Dot Award for conceptual design in 2014.
Little is known about when the blanket might be available for purchase, but Ippinka relays that it is more than likely the life-saving invention will be sold in stores in the near future.
