Our body reacts differently to certain situations, to remind us something is wrong around us that may harm our body. It can also be a just a regular routine action for protecting us, like a doctor checkup we usually go for
We know about these reactions, yawning and stretching out which are very usual. But the facts related to these reactions are still not clear to some of us. It is the time we should find out the reason and process of these reactions since it is our duty to know details about our body.
This is why the body does these 7 random things.
1. Yawn
We all know we yawn or wide open our mouth when we are tired which helps us to get in more amount of oxygen. But this is not the whole scenario. A report published in the year 2014 shows yawning works like an air conditioner for our brain. It balances the heat or climate within the brain so that the bodily processes go on without any interference.
2. Sneeze
Even without a cough and cold people sneeze. It is an involuntary process about which we have no control. In this era of pollution, sneezing works as a defensive action. It helps in pushing out of our body the harmful particles of dust, impurities, and chemicals. This, in turn, helps in protecting the other organs such as lungs.
3. Tears
Even if we wake up from sleep or in between that heartfelt stomach aching laughs we find tears in corners of our eyes. So, it is not necessary that tears come only when we are feeling down or depressed. Tears are there as an automatic cleaner for eyes since we cannot use any other thing to clean the eyeballs. It helps to protect our eyes from any sort of infection.
4. Shrinking or Wincing
Our body develops reflex actions to take utmost care from any danger, within a fraction of seconds. Shrinking is one of them. When we hear any abnormal or high pitched sound, our body feels we are going to face danger and as a way of saving it shrinks.
5. Shearing Skin
Shearing or Pruning is another way of saving us. Basically, when our skin stays in touch with water for a long time, it shears. This, in turn, helps to stay in water without any difficulty.
6. Goosebumps
We being the product of evolution have learned and kept with us certain habits which they endured throughout their lives. Skin erection was kind of a sign used by our ancestors to save them from unpleasant climate.
