Hungarian Professor Erno Rubik invented the Rubik’s Cube in 1974 and the past 3 decades we use it to exercise the mind and logic.
A group of artists found an alternative and original way of using the cube, creating mosaic artwork.
The group of artists Cube Works Studio based in Toronto, created a new kind of street art, by creating artworks with Rubik’s Cubes.
Portraits of Hollywood stars, colorful designs and landscapes include their creations. The most impressive work was to cover with 85,794 Rubik’s cubes, an urban wall in the city center.
The mural is 13 feet high and 200 feet wide and the street artists took several months until they finished. They earned a place in the Guinness Book of records.
