Recently, large companies changed the policy regarding the leftover food. An original idea to reduce the phenomenon of wasting food in restaurants, gave the restaurant owner Pauline Minu in India.
The owner in Kochi, India, when she saw a homeless woman eating from the garbage bin knew that she had to do something.
Realizing that the restaurant had plenty of food that being thrown away every night in the trash, decided to pull out a fridge on the street, filled with left over food.
The fridge is open all days and hours of the week and everyone is free to use.
