A blonde enters a shop intending to purchase a new TV.
After selecting her ideal choice, she approaches the salesman and requests to buy it. The salesman refuses, implying she doesn’t truly know what she wants. Feeling discriminated against for being a woman, she angrily leaves, determined to prove him wrong.
She disguises herself with a short wig and a fake mustache and returns to the store as a man. She tries again to buy the TV using a deep voice, but the salesman recognizes her and denies the sale once more.
Frustrated and believing her blonde hair is to blame, she dyes her hair brunette at a salon and goes back to the store. She attempts to purchase the TV again, but the salesman immediately stops her, exasperated.
Confused, she asks how he knew her identity despite her disguises, to which he responds, “Because that’s not a TV, it’s a microwave you’ve been trying to buy all day!”
