It started as an ordinary day. I sent my husband a casual photo of me at the stables, standing beside Thunder, a gentle black horse who had quickly become my favorite. I’d been helping with the horses for weeks, and Thunder’s calm, kind nature always brought me joy. Sharing that moment seemed innocent enough.
But everything changed when my husband saw the picture. He zoomed in, examining it intently, and then a message appeared on my screen, stark and sudden: “I want a divorce.”
At first, I thought he was joking. Then he called, and his tone was laced with anger.
“How long has this been going on?” he demanded.

“The shadow on your back,” he accused. “Don’t lie to me.”
