Cécile Dormeau portrays the everyday “struggles” women give, that magazines do not have the courage to show us.
From makeup and body hair to sexual harassment at the public transportation. The French artist has something to say, full of humor, wonderful, but strange at the same time.
Her creations are designed to animate women and destroy stereotypes that want them steady, sexy and flawless as if they star in a movie.
“I like to represent women in a way we are not used to seeing,” she says. “I want to celebrate the weaknesses of women alongside their strengths.”
