Photographer Robert Sijka presents us the largest domestic cats in the world, the Maine Coon.
Today’s cat Maine Coon is descended from the Wildcats of the northern United States of America. There is a legend about this cat. Said to be a crossbreed of wildcat and raccoon. Of course this biologically it is impossible to happen. It seems that the name came from the State of Maine and the Coon because of its rich, fluffy tail reminiscent of a raccoon.
As the photographer says, cats are a particular theme that he does not lose the opportunity to photograph them.
Maine Coon breed radiates an authentic nobility which the photographer imprinted with great success through these photographs portraits.
These cats look like mythical creatures plucked from dark tales.
