Amylea Nunez(two months old) became the world’s youngest medical cannabis oil patient ever recorded. Amylea was born on December 17, 2015.
A few days later her parents realised that something was wrong with the baby. Unfortunatelly, Amylea suffered from violent-epileptic seizures and she was getting worse day by day. One day a seizure lasted more than one hour and Amylea’s heart stopped beating for a while, immediately after the seizure.
Realising that the medicines prescribed for Amylea didn’t stop the seizures, her parents Nicole and Ernie Nunez took her to Colorado. New treatments were followed and drugs were prescribed by the doctors of Children Hospital Colorado, but there was no improve to Amylea’s health.
This was the exact time that her parents started their own research on how to treat epilepsy and then they came across Charlotte’s Web CBD oil. The hospital doctors didn’t agree at start but after the pressure of Nicole and Ernie, that this could be a healthier-maybe the only better than drugs- solution for their baby.
The hospital finally agreed to allow Nicole and Ernie give two doses of the CBD oil each day, although the doctors are not allowed to prescribe cannabis oil as a treatment method.
As for the news about Amylea’s health? As their parents reported she started reacting to them and following their faces when they talk to her, something that never happened before.
