You are alone, lost and injured, in a secluded village with no one in sight. What do you do?
Meet the story of a Hungarian hiker and a remarkable cat.
A Hungarian hiker injured his ankle while walking in the Alps near Gimmelwald, Switzerland. This injury was so severe that it made him lose his sense of direction as he struggled to walk.
The hiker explained that it was the end of the ski season in Lauterbrunnen village and that the lifts were not working and trails were closed.
After the injury and significant disorientation, he struggled to find his track. He tried going back for help but it all proved futile.
Almost giving up, he decided to take a rest to ponder what he could possibly do. It was at that moment that a black and white cat passed by and sensed that the man was lost.

The cat was just wandering around and started walking looking at the man with a ‘follow me’ signal. The man had nothing to lose and followed the cat who miraculously led him back to the village.
After this experience, the man posted everything on Reddit and locals confirmed that they had seen the cat around and that it belonged to a couple who owned a hotel in the area.
